Jeremy Yeo
Jeremy Yeo graduated from the Institute of Music, UCSI University, specializing in piano solo andpiano accompaniment.
He has studied under renowned pianist,
Dr. P'ng Tean Hwa, Mr. Ng Chong Lim, Dr. Park JiSook, Mr. Woon Chi Choong.
He has performed in Carnegie Hall, DewanFilharmonik, and KLpac as a soloist and collaborative piano.
In 2007, Jeremy participated in the Asia International Summer Piano Festival in South Korea and
won gold prizes in the Piano Solo and Chamber Music categories.
In 2009, at the age of 15,
Jeremy participated in The Malaysian Youth Music Festival and was awarded the Solo Piano
Competition's three top prizes:
1) The Gold Award
2) Platinum Award for Diploma Level
3) Three Festival's Solo Piano Special
Achievement Award
2010, Winner of the Roland Piano Festival in the Open Classical Piano Category
2012, 1st runner-up in the 13th Hong Kong (Asia Pacific) Piano Competition (Open Category)
2014, 1st runner-up of the Young Artist Category in the UCSI International Piano Festival and Competition
Apart from his solo endeavor, Jeremy has collaborated with the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra
in the “Carnival” 2014 concert series which they performed Saint-Saëns' The Carnival of the Animals.
Jeremy has also collaborated with Malaysian Century Chinese Orchestra in 2017,
performing the Yellow River Piano Concerto in KLpac.
